Boycott Cisco, Linksys

I was thinking about the current Software Freedom Law Center lawsuit against Cisco for their GPL violations. I believe that until Cisco complies to the GPL we should boycott all of there products. This includes Linksys. This will actually effect me because until I heard this story I was planning to buy a Linksys router but I feel that I can wait until they decide to comply. Thoughts?

I agree though Cisco/Linksys will probably just have to comply. That being said, I just bought a Dlink router instead of a Linksys.

great to hear your support. I really don't want to set up a website for this boycott. I could but I think it may be better if we just tell people about it on our blogs. So if you have any place that you post please pass along the word.

The FSF has settled its lawsuit with Cisco. Now Cisco has agreed to comply with the GPL.

That doesn't mean that there aren't other reasons to boycott Cisco, though.
