Flash Cart!

Two days ago I recieved a flash cart (CycloDS Evolution) + 2gb MicroSD card as an early christmas present and I have to say IT IS AWESOME! For those who don't know a flash cart is a way to use homebrew games, game backups *wink* , mp3's, ebooks, movies and even Linux on your DS via a flash card. (Click for more) The only thing that you need to do is copy the files over to the card, plug it into the cart and turn on your DS. Right now I have 21 games (Mario Kart, Custom Robo, Trauma Center, etc), 200 mb of music and DsLinux on the card. Obtaining games is as easy as downloading a game/app in a .nds file from sites like Romulation. One of the really cool feature of this cart is that it allows you to slow down the game to 1/4,1/2 or 1/3 speed, Its helpful if you need to slow things down because you can't keep up. Other features are things like built in Action Replay support, soft reset, the Moonshell media player, Ability to change screen brightness ingame via a shortcut and auto patching! The best advantage of using a flash cart over the standard DS cartide is that now I just need to carry my DS with me, No need for game cartidges. Also since the cart sits flush with the DS you don't need to worry about snapping anything off. Overall I am pleased with this device and I <3 it! Quite possibly one of the most functional and useful Christmas presents ever!
