i still really want to do miwako cosplay! i'm excited <3

miwako is a very cute, childish, pink haired senior in design school at the yazawa school for the arts. she's one of the main characters in the manga paradise kiss. you can read it for free online here.

she wears her very long pink hair in pigtails or ponytails a lot, lots of pink and bright colors, she's short but wears heels. and she wears lolita! or at least sometimes. she also wears a lot of really cute fruits style clothing. all the clothes are designed by her older sister, who she idolizes. she tries to come up with her own designs, but they all seem too much like her sister's.

she's the original reason i got my ears pierced the way that i did... with two on each side. miwako has nearly the same piercing... i saw hers and liked them but i prefer symmetry so i decided not to add a silver ring in the top of one ear.

anyway, she'll be my very first cosplay and i'm really excited!! i'm going to need a pushup bra, because miwako has bigger boobs, and a pink lolita dress, some louder accessories than i'm used to, white boots, a very long pink curly pigtailed wig, and...

i really want miwako's happy berry backpack! it's the logo of her sister's company in the back, but in the front the wings on the berry look like she has angel wings. here's a picture of one someone made, but i don't know if it really looks like she has wings from the front. i'm going to ask kadi to make me one, because i know she can figure out how to do that if it's physically possible. i've always wanted a winged backpack, but i wanted a bat winged one like witch baby had in dangerous angels. that's really more my style, even though i covet miwako's. but this is a chance to have that one and i think it will be a lot of fun.
