woot?

i'm pretty sure that this is a good thing, but the language is confusing me because i am hungry. if i'm reading it right it's giving rights to the people held at guantanamo bay, which in general i am in favor of... but somehow i can sense something lurking around the edges. reading it i either get the feeling that it's a formality that won't help much, or that it has something attached to it.
so i'm happy on the level of "yay! some people who didn't do anything will be coming home! and then worried that maybe they won't be, or that something else will be done.

i hope the people who got waterboarded and had all kinds of other shit done to them that you and i can't even imagine come home and write a tell all book that sells so many billions of copies that they never have to worry again, and i hope they use some of that money to set up charity lawyers for victims of racial profiling,and that all their children go to those high and mighty skull and bones collages and all those bohemian grove bastards have to deal with knowing they're there.

i always get mean when i'm hungry.
